Precautions should be taken during the use of plastic bottles
Changing the surface shape of plastic bottles, such as making the middle of the bottle
Oct 28,2022
1. Changing the surface shape of plastic bottles, such as making the middle of the bottle relatively thinner and adding circumferential grooves or ribs on the surface of the bottle, can improve the rigidity and bending resistance of the plastic bottle. Longitudinal grooves or reinforcing ribs can eliminate the displacement, sagging, or deformation of plastic bottles under long-term loads
2. When designing extruded plastic bottles, if the material is high-density polyethylene or polypropylene, the cross-section of the plastic bottle should be rectangular or elliptical. For low-density polyethylene or other flexible plastic bottles, a circular cross-section is preferred. This makes it easier for the contents to be squeezed out of the plastic bottle.
3. To ensure uniform wall thickness of plastic bottles, attention should be paid to the symmetry of their shape. Try to minimize extreme stretching points and areas. All transitions are made using circular arcs.
4. The printing surface of plastic bottles is the most focused area for consumers' attention. The printing surface should be flat and continuous; If the plastic bottle contains structures such as handles, grooves, and reinforcing ribs, attention should be paid to not causing inconvenience to the printing operation during design.
