This year, by using 0.1% -0.4% sorbitol xylene nucleating agent in general PP, high transparency PP plastic packaging bottles can be produced through methods such as blowing, stretching, injection, and kneading. PP plastic bottles have good temperature resistance, sensitive bottle shape description, and excellent performance in terms of safety, hygiene, and the taste of the contents. They are cheaper than PET, PS, PE and other materials. The use of PP plastic bottles in beverage packaging malls has gradually approached that of PET bottles. The continuous development of modified resins, anti reflective agents, and mechanical equipment skills has enabled PP containers to replace glass, PET, and PVC containers, with broad market prospects. PET bottles are the mainstream of beverage packaging. PET slice particles should dominate the beverage packaging industry in China, and so far, no better or superior packaging material has been found to replace PET.

It can be stored at 100 ℃ for hot filling, while the filling temperature of general PET bottles cannot be higher than the glass transition temperature of 76 ℃. The moisture isolation function of PP is about 5 times that of PET, and the cost of producing PP preforms is lower than that of PET preforms.
